We still have a few days until the London 2012 Olympics officially opens, but we have tourists asking for help this very morning. Three so far, needing to get to London Charing Cross. I can’t wait for it to start. Saw 'The Dark Knight Rises' over the weekend with a good friend of mine - I thought it was good, in it's own way.

When I arrived to catch a train at Cannon Street station this evening, his voice (i.e. London Mayor, Boris) is booming out again and it gets more annoying each time. New announcements on the train, about if you see anything suspicious to report it to the police or station staff. Really? What the hell has happened? Storm force winds and that bloody rain is back again. Why? What have we done to deserve this? At least this morning the London bound train was kind of empty which is a rarity.
